And when you consider the fact that you wear those pre-packaged costumes only one time&#8230; So this year I decided to shop my closet instead (and the mall for a few extra items here and there) to create my own Halloween costumes inspired by some of my favorite characters and\/or celebrities. First up is this costume inspired by <strong>Cookie Lyon<\/strong>, from my (and just about everyone else&#8217;s) favorite new show, &#8220;<strong><em>Empire<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; on FOX! Cookie&#8217;s style has evolved a little since Season 1, but her uniform still seems to center around bodycon, animal print dresses, and fur coats and stoles. I wanted something more Cookie-style than what I had hanging in my closet so I went for this <a href=\"http:\/\/rstyle.me\/n\/bc7cgidkge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thalia Sodi Animal-Print Sheath Dress<\/a>, on sale for $44.75 at Macy&#8217;s. I paired it with this Scala\u2122 Animal-Print Fedora, $14 http:\/\/rstyle.me\/n\/bc7b7adkge, and this chunky Buffalo by David Bitton Cecile faux fur jacket that was already hanging in my closet. I threw on a few accessories, like these large <a href=\"http:\/\/rstyle.me\/n\/bc82d8dkge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gold hoop earrings<\/a> and a <a
