\nI love getting my hair professionally done but I typically only head to the salon if I’m in need of something I can’t do at home, like a haircut or full head install, or if I want to get glammed up for a special event. Also, after recently being overcharged for a haircut\/blowout combo at a local salon, I decided to start doing my own blowouts at home. I have an endless supply of haircare products at home and recently picked up a dry oil that I had on my beauty shelf. I picked it up at Target<\/a>\u00a0a few months ago when I was traveling but barely used it. But once I did, I was addicted and had to have more. So I headed to my local store\u00a0to browse the full OGX Beauty<\/a> (Organix) product line and came home with half the line! (Don’t judge me.)<\/p>\n

OGX Beauty<\/strong> makes hair care<\/a> and body products<\/a> from natural, nourishing ingredients like coconut water and milk, cherry blossom, eucalyptus mint, acai berry avocado and tea tree mint, to name a few. My personal favorites are the Argan Oil of Morocco and Coconut Milk products, but I also picked up some OGX Kukui Oil Anti-Frizz Hydrating Oil<\/a> and Thick & Full Bitotin & Collagen Weightless Healing Oil Mist<\/a> products for later use.<\/p>\n

To achieve my salon-worthy blowout at home, I first washed and conditioned my hair with OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo<\/a> and Conditioner<\/a>. While my hair is still damp, I squeezed about 2-3 drops of OGX Coconut Milk Anti-breakage Serum<\/a> in my hands and ran it through my hair. It may not seem like a lot but trust me – it goes a long way. If you use too much, it’ll weigh down your hair so keep it light! Also, you can always add more once your hair has dried, if you want a little more gloss and shine. Next, I blow dried my hair with a detangling brush<\/a>. Once dry, I sprayed it all over with OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil<\/a>. As I flat-ironed each section, I added more spray as-needed. When it was all said and done – voila! I had a silky, salon-style blowout (and I didn’t get ripped off to get it)!<\/p>\n
