\nIt’s been a long time coming but Italian luxury brand Gucci<\/strong> finally launched a line of cosmetics<\/a>! The 200-piece collection debuted last week at Milan Fashion Week, both on the models on the runway at Gucci’s Spring 2015<\/strong> show, and presented after the show. Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini<\/strong> worked with iconic makeup artist and artistic director, Pat McGrath<\/strong>, to develop the line over the past four years.<\/p>\n

The collection of lipstick, nail polish, eye shadow, eye liner, facial serum, blush, pressed powder, concealer, mascara and more, comes in a wide array of deliciously luxe shades. For inspiration, Giannini pulled fabric swatches from the Gucci archives and settled on the the following ‘Iconic Six’ hues: gold, black, red, bronze, copper and ottanio (teal). Additional gorgeous colors were added, from Gucci’s fabric boards. But not only are the colors brilliant – so is the packaging! Each item comes in a sleek black case complete with Gucci’s iconic interlocking G pattern (Guccissima<\/strong>) logo, both in gold on the exterior and stamped on the makeup too.<\/p>\n
