\nJust in time for the return of Scandal<\/strong><\/em> (Season 4 starts September 25, 2014, 9|8 CT on ABC!!) comes the highly anticipated launch of the The Limited Scandal Collection<\/a>! The line, which we told you about a few months ago, was created jointly by Scandal<\/em> star, actress Kerry Washington<\/a>, the show’s costume designer, Lyn Paolo<\/a>, and Elliot Staples<\/strong>, head of design at The Limited. The trio worked together to create each piece, to “create possibilities for ladies who lead.<\/em>” Lyn Paolo<\/strong> commented: “From the fabrics to buttons, to cuts, to closures – we made sure every detail was perfect for our Gladiators.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

The collection includes pretty much everything Olivia Pope<\/a> would wear. It’s full of drape wrap coats<\/a>, double breasted jackets<\/a> and blazers, plaid capes<\/a>, and cape trenches. There’s also officer’s pencil skirts<\/a>, sheath dresses<\/a>, wide leg<\/a> and flare leg trousers<\/a>, and silk blouses and shells begging to be layered. And there’s plenty of white, of course! The collection is heavy on work wear (virtually every piece is office-appropriate). But in case you feel like lounging at home with your red wine and popcorn, there’s a draped front open cardigan<\/a> for that, too! So very Olivia Pope-style<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
