\nDespite their attention-grabbing advertisements, I never really “got” the hype behind American Apparel<\/strong>, therefore I’ve never shopped there. But this weekend, out on a shopping trip in SoHo with my sister who just had<\/em> to have a pair of the slit jersey leggings<\/a>, I finally made my way in, and liked what I saw. Sure American Apparel<\/a> is full of basics like tees, tanks and leggings that are just slightly overhyped, but there were plenty of other precious gem that I wanted to take home with me. One of which was the American Apparel Le Sac Dress<\/a>, which I bought, in magenta.<\/p>\n

The dress was quite a find – it’s actually six dresses in one – possibly more if you’re feeling creative, and recessionly-priced at $38. You can wear it a variety of ways depending on your mood or the occasion – one-shoulder and suspender style are my faves\u00a0– and it’s one size fits all so any gal, small to large and anywhere in-between, can rock it. You can play dress up with one of American Apparel’s many accessories, like Le String<\/a> or add your own favorite dressing.
