\nMetallics<\/a> are all the rage this fall and I was excited when I saw a lot of metallic make-up options on my last cosmetics<\/a> shopping trip. I was really intrigued by Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow<\/a>. These are runway-inspired, with buildable metallic colors that really deliver. You can add a sweep of metallic color to complement your everyday look, or cover your entire lid for a more intense metallic look.<\/p>\n

The eye shadows<\/a> come in twelve gorgeous shades, including gold and silver, which are both hot colors right now. You can apply them two ways depending on what look you want to achieve. The shadows come with a liquid primer for all day staying power, and a metal tray to mix your primer<\/a> and shadow.

\nIf you want to do a more sheer wash of color, place one drop of liquid primer onto the metal tray. Using your finger, take a small amount of the metal shadow and mix it into the primer. Then, using your finger, gently pat the shadow onto the center of your eye. You can add layers until it’s the intensity and look you want. This technique is great to add a sheer wash of metallic to your everyday eye look.\u00a0 To kick it up a notch for evening or a party, apply the liquid primer directly to your eyelid. Then take some of the metallic shadow onto your fingertip and press it onto your primed eye. This will give a more dramatic metallic foil look. I actually have been using the Comex Gold<\/a> shade and using this technique for a glam everyday look. I love it!<\/p>\n
