\nRemember the days when we called Target<\/a>, ‘Tar-zhay’ because of its higher end items? Well now the store is really living up to that name as it continues to increase its luxury cache with the launch of a holiday collaboration with Neiman Marcus<\/a>! Yes, you heard that right. The luxury<\/a> department store and the discount retailer announced “a revolutionary partnership that will bring together 24 of America’s most talented designers to create a limited-edition holiday collection<\/em><\/strong>.” The collection launches Dec. 1, just in time for holiday shopping, and will be available at all Target and Neiman Marcus stores, as well as online at Target.com<\/a> and NeimanMarcus.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection<\/strong> will include products ranging in price from $7.99 to $499.99 (but most items will be under $60), from designers including:

\n\u2022 Band of Outsiders
\n\u2022 Brian Atwood
\n\u2022 Carolina Herrera
\n\u2022 Derek Lam

\n\u2022 Lela Rose

\n\u2022 Marc Jacobs

And to further celebrate their partnership, Target and Neiman Marcus will donate a total of $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designers of America<\/strong> (CFDA<\/a>) in honor of each of their long-standing commitment to fostering design talent and recognizing the 24 participating designers, all of whom are CFDA members.<\/p>\n

Karen Katz<\/strong>, president and chief executive officer, The Neiman Marcus Group said: “Neiman Marcus and Target share a passion for great design and delighting customers in new and unexpected ways. We are thrilled to be collaborating to offer a spectacular and special collection of one-of-a-kind items for the holidays. These will be the “must have” gifts \u2013 whether you are a loyal Neiman Marcus customer, a devoted Target guest or a fan of American design.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg<\/strong> commented: “I can think of no better finale to CFDA’s 50th Anniversary celebration than through this extraordinary designer collaboration.
