Have you ever seen something on a commercial, in an ad or on someone and became obsessed with finding it? I have no shame asking someone on the street or the train where they got something, and searching for it until I track it down! Just call me a ‘stealthy shopper’. A few months ago I spotted this nautical striped dress on a TJ Maxx<\/strong> commercial and immediately became obsessed with finding it. I Googled every version of the phrase “striped maxi dress with vertical red stripe” (the dress in the commercial had a red stripe down the front and back) and finally found it – the Maggy London Nautical Stripe Maxi Dress<\/a>! I love this dress! It runs a bit large so size down if you’re planning to buy it (here<\/a> and here<\/a>). I had to pair it with a wide belt to cinch the waist. Also, it’s a bit thin and sheer so you have to wear something underneath (I wore leggings), and it runs a tad short for a maxi dress so if you’re tall, that’s something you want to consider too.<\/p>\n

I wore the dress pre-Fourth of July, paired with striped Bottega Veneta<\/strong> sandals, and a red Marc by Marc Jacobs<\/strong> bag, to get into the patriotic spirit a day early.<\/p>\n
