\nTwo weeks ago, I woke up bright and early Saturday morning, excited to head to Nordstrom at Roosevelt Field Mall for the Spring Beauty Trend Show<\/strong>. Those early to the show were treated to a beauty pre-show outside the store, as well as coffee and pastries. As it neared 8am, everyone entered the store and took their seats along the runway. This year’s theme was “Beauty Getaway<\/strong>“, and the runway show paired beautiful spring and summer outfits with the season’s hottest makeup trends<\/a>. The host of the show was Nordstrom’s East Coast Beauty and Fragrance\u00a0Director Tawni Hart<\/strong>, and she was amazing at getting everyone pumped to see what all the brands had in store.

\nI was treated to a front row seat at the show, as well as a generous bag full of products to sample.\u00a0\u00a0All attendees were gifted with mango-colored tote bags with cards inside that could be redeemed for deluxe samples and consultations at different beauty counters. Tawni started the show by sharing with us that the hottest trends for spring<\/a> right now are glowing skin, gold shimmering eyes, and a pop of color on the lips.<\/p>\n

One by one, the audience heard from beauty experts<\/a> from brands like Trish McEvoy<\/a>, Chantecaille<\/a>, Laura Mercier<\/a>, Chanel<\/a>, M.A.C.<\/a>, and more. There were raffle prizes handed out by hot male lifeguards, a wonderful energy as everyone was introduced to amazing new products, and I even got up on the runway to show off my Trish McEvoy Arabian Nights Gel Eyeliner<\/a>!
