\nI haven’t added to my make-up collection in a while, and I was so excited when I came upon M\u00b7A\u00b7C’s ‘Festive Frost’ Face Kit (Nordstrom Exclusive)<\/a>\"icon\". It is a complete winter look including a snow globe-inspired makeup case and three essential brushes. I ripped this set open as soon as I got it! It truly makes for a wonderful addition to my makeup collection.<\/p>\n

To start, the compact has an adorable working snow globe bubble on top which is so festive. It opens to a set of four shadows that slide over, revealing a blush. The ‘Buff’ blush<\/a> looked dark at first, but even on my fair skin it looks wonderful. It gives a bit of a ‘fresh-from-the-cold’ winter glow and pairs nicely with the shadows<\/a>. The shadows are neutral, but with shimmer, and they create a great natural look for day that you can kick up with the darker shadows for night. I use the shadows as liner too, and this works great to create a smoky eye look. I think this palette is the perfect set to travel with since it’s a whole look in one. The clear makeup<\/a> case comfortably fits in a purse and houses the three brushes, palette, lipstick<\/a> and gloss with room for some of your other essentials. Lastly, I have to rave about the neutral beige-tone lipstick. I was very unsure how this color would look on me.\u00a0 After applying, I realize that this lipstick is perfect to complete this winter look. The color is a true nude lip that you can use whenever you do your eyes a bit heavy. For winter, it gives your lips that natural finish and you can pair the gloss on top to add shine and richer color.<\/p>\n
