\nIt takes a lot (like, a village) to get us out of our heels and into a pair of sneakers<\/a> (aside from working out, of course). Very few brands have been able to do so – Ash<\/a>, Reebok<\/a> and Puma<\/a> to name a few. And now – Nine West. Nine West<\/a> has been a mainstay in our closets since, like high school, and every season we add more of its shoes<\/a> to our collection. Next Spring we’ll be able to add sneakers as well, since the company just entered into a licensing agreement with Philip Simon Brands Group Inc. to develop a line of fashionable sneakers<\/a>. The collection will debut at FFANY<\/strong> this August and will officially launch in Spring 2012<\/a> at Nine West stores, department stores and specialty retailers. The 30-piece collection of Nine West Original Sneakers<\/strong> will range in price from $49 to $129 and will be diverse in terms of color, unique materials and shapes. We’re keeping a close eye on those gold python<\/a> sneakers<\/em>.

\nAlso launching in 2012 is a Nine West fragrance and more launches in the Shoelaborations<\/strong> series (prior and current partnerships included Karen Elson<\/a>, Giles Deacon<\/a> and Sophie Theallet<\/a>).<\/p>\n
