\nThere is nothing more powerful than two major fashion forces and a team of the industry’s most influential designers coming together to support a cause. eBay<\/a> and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)<\/a> collaborated to raise awareness against counterfeit goods.\u00a0The “You Can’t Fake Fashion<\/strong>” tote bag campaign launches today on the eBay Fashion Vault<\/a>. eBay<\/strong> and the CFDA<\/strong> produced a collection of 50 exclusive totes customized by America’s top designers including 3.1 Phillip Lim<\/strong>, Anna Sui<\/strong>, Badgley Mischka<\/strong>, Botkier<\/strong>, Catherine Malandrino<\/strong>, Helmut Lang<\/strong>, Naeem Khan<\/strong>, Rachel Roy<\/strong>, Rebecca Minkoff<\/strong>, Stuart Weitzman<\/strong>, Tracy Reese<\/strong> and Tory Burch<\/strong>, to name a few.\u00a0See all the participating designers here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Counterfeits are a critical issue to CFDA, eBay and the fashion industry at large,” said Steven Kolb<\/strong>, CFDA Executive Director. “We’re excited to collaborate on this important campaign to educate consumers on the dangers of counterfeits and emphasize the importance of original design.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In addition to the one-of-a-kind, customized designer totes ($150), there are limited-edition<\/a> “You Can’t Fake Fashion”\u00a0tote bags<\/a> ($35),\u00a0both\u00a0on sale now on eBay.\u00a0All proceeds will benefit the CFDA Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
