The annual Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one the fashion world’s biggest events (besides the Academy Awards and Fashion Week). It’s always a red carpet I look forward to because it’s really the chance for designers and their muses to ‘bring it’! This year’s theme is called “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” and it was created to show the impact of punk on high fashion. It is especially exciting for me, since punk is one of my personal style choices. So I was expecting to see lots of leather, studs and crazily mixed prints on...

Haute or Not: Givenchy’s Wool ‘Cat’ Hat
Last year crazy animal hats were all the rage. Cute as it was, thankfully (and hopefully) that particular trend is over, but still designers can’t resist being inspired by four-legged furry friends. For Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci has already brought us animal fashion in the form of a Rottweiler (as seen on Kanye West and Liv Tyler), and now Tisci’s bringing us the Givenchy Wool ‘Cat’ Hat – as seen on the runway, it’s the newest twist on the animal trend. It’s basically your average wool baseball cap featuring miniature ‘cat’ ears, and said to...

Who rocked it hotter: Kanye West vs. Liv Tyler in Givenchy
Of course celebs shop at the same places and are often caught wearing the same outfit, different ways, but we’ve never seen a man and a woman appear on our “Who Rocked It Hotter” feature. Kanye West and Liv Tyler showed up to the Givenchy ready-to-wear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week both dressed in Givenchy, naturally, but ironically wore the same exact sweater!
The item they were spotted both wearing was a shirt from the Givenchy Fall 2010 collection, emblazoned with an image of a rabid-looking Rottweiler dog. (Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci previously wore the shirt...

The loss of Michael Jackson shook the world on Thursday.
