Just last week, the Olsen twins became members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for their luxury brand, The Row and their contemporary line, Elizabeth & James.
Now, According to Women’s Wear Daily, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching Olsenboye, a junior brand concept that they presented to, and will be exclusive to J.C. Penney. Olsenboye, the Olsens’ ancestral name, will hit 600 Penney stores in February and the pieces retail between $20 and $50. The collection will include denim, pants, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes.
Promotion for the line begins today, with an Olsenboye truck going around New York selling merchandise and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins, while 50 high-profile Penney stores will have empty racks covered in Olsenboye shrouds. And starting November 6, Olsenboye will be available for a limited time on jcp.com and in those same 50 stores, including the Manhattan flagship store.
Ashley Olsen said: “Mary-Kate and I watch current trends and see our partnership with J.C. Penney as an opportunity to add something unique to the marketplace, especially in the current retail climate,”. “Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand and we feel this collaboration complements and strengthens our business portfolio, delivering trend-based fashion at affordable prices.”
Recent contemporary designer launches and collaborations with J.C. Penney included Bisou Bisou by Michelle Bohbot, I [Heart] Ronson, Allen B., Oxford & Regent and Twelfth of Eleven.
Sam Edelman ‘Zoe’ boots cause a stir

These are the boots that have been causing a stir. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen first wore the original Balenciaga version of these harness booties back in 2006 and since then, women have been clamoring for them, and their much lower-priced look alikes. The look alikes that have been selling out everywhere are the Sam Edelman ‘Zoe’ boots.
These booties feature leather and fabric upper with harness and buckle details, zip and buckle closures and a 1 1/4″ platform with a wrapped 5 1/4″ heel.

UPDATE: Shop the Rachel Zoe for QVC Collection online here!
Rachel Zoe’s clothing line looks a lot like something we’ve seen before. Oh, yes, it looks just like the very wardrobe of…well, Rachel Zoe.
Known for her equal parts boho and vintage glam style and fashion styling, the star stylist is set to unveil her fashion line for QVC during New York Fashion Week (#NYFW). The collection will consists of primarily accessories – jewelry, scarves, bags, sunglasses – and a set of faux fur vests and a faux snakeskin jacket (though she’s no stranger to real fur coats).
If you wanna look like Rachel Zoe, or the celebrity clones clients (like Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Linsday Lohan, Olsen twins) that she has dressed, you will soon have your chance.

Elizabeth & James Eliot Pant
December 16, 2008 by Ehmonie Hainey · Leave a Comment
Who else but the Olsen twins could create such a stylish skinny pant?
So maybe they didn’t actually design anything in their Elizabeth & James line but these are très Mary-Kate and Ashley. These Elizabeth & James Eliot high-rise pants flatter the body, from waist to ankle, with the angled zipper pockets, hook-and-bar closure, piping details on the waist and pockets, and back welt detail. Wear it with a large boho top and funky jewelry, a Chanel bag and killer heels and you’ve got Olsen couture style.
Without all of the billions, of course.
