Adidas-owned Rockport has named model Erin Wasson the official face of its fall women’s shoe ad campaign. The campaign, “A Day in the Life of a Model,” will launch on Sept. 1. (WWD)

Last week I attended a special event hosted by Kmart Fashion & Sophomore NYC, to launch their limited-edition #FashionWeekProblems T-shirt. Designed by Sophomore creative director Chrissie Miller, the shirt features a red pump with a broken heel, and the #FashionWeekProblems Twitter hashtag. Karl Lagerfeld has his fashionable hands in everything. United Nude creative director and co-founder Rem D. Koolhaas and fashion designer Iris van Herpen teamed up to create this black laminated bootie with an amazingly curved-heel for van Herpen’s show at Paris Fashion Week. United Nude is planning to launch a limited-edition leather version of the shoe that will sell for $990, starting this February at select luxury stores, United Nude boutiques and on United Nude’s website.
