It’s the return of the mod this season, or at least it is at the house of Louis Vuitton. Last season, Marc Jacobs presented his LV Spring/Summer 2013 collection with models descending from escalators onto the runway, draped in the finest checkerboard prints. The motif was seen on pants, shoes, bra tops and dresses in color combos like black and white, beige and white, grey and cream, and blush and cream. Stella McCartney‘s dresses have been making their rounds on the Hollywood circuit lately. Kerry Washington, the stylish star of ABC’s Scandal, was the latest to rock one. She wore a printed blue dress from the Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012 collection at the “Django Unchained” photo call. The event, held at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico, was part of the Summer of Sony 4 Spring Edition.
