The most impractical sunglasses YOU MUST OWN!

We never thought we’d want to resemble a horse with blinders on but that was before we spotted these smokin’ haute shades from Crux New York. Barbie by Christian Louboutin

Since it’s almost Christmas, you know what that means – a new version of the Barbie doll is hitting stores for parents to fight over. But this time, they may be fighting for it for themselves and not their daughters (or sons as the case may be). That’s because shoe designer of the moment (or many moments as his shoes remain in demand after numerous seasons) Christian Louboutin is styling three Louboutin Barbie dolls, who will come with mini Louboutin boxes and doll shoes. And of course, since Barbie always comes with controversy, the red-soled shoe designer is said to be re-shaping her feet because apparently, according to a Louboutin spokesperson, the designer believes Barbie has ‘cankles’. Who knew? Anyway, if you want these haute couture shoe/skinny ankled dolls, they launch in December 2009. The first in the series is the ’Cat-burglar’ Barbie by Christian Louboutin, dressed in a sleek hooded black cat-suit. Becuase all haute couture shoe/skinny ankled dolls are thieves. Didn’t you know?

Le Whif makes it ok to inhale…chocolate, that is

There are three things that I just can’t get enough of. Shopping is one of them. Chocolate is another. The third? Well, let’s just leave that up to the imagination…

But back to chocolate…I’m an absolute chocoholic so it’s the ultimate in guilty pleasures for me, though not necessarily the best dietary option. Especially if you’re on a diet, although there are all sorts of diet-friendly chocolate products on the market to satisfy those cravings, including low-fat chocolate cakes and sugar-free chocolate candies, along with chocolate-flavored appetite-curbing drinks and supplements. Harvard professor David Edwards, lead inventor of Le Whif, says:
“Over the centuries we’ve been eating smaller and smaller quantities at shorter and shorter intervals. It seemed to us that eating was tending toward breathing, so, with a mix of culinary art and aerosol science, we’ve helped move eating habits to their logical conclusion. We call it whiffing.”

Edwards went on to say that inhaled chocolate is just the start – he and his team at Foodlab at Le Laboratoire in Paris are also developing other “culinary innovations that let you eat while breathing.” So you can skip the candy bar and have a whiff of chocolate.
