BFF’s Rihanna and Katy Perry glammed it up on the orange carpet at Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards. Rihanna wore a Christian Dior dress with nude Brian Atwood heels and sparkly ankle socks, rows oof necklaces and accessorized with a Sutra Jewels diamond ring. Katy Perry wore a very Rihanna-esque outfit - a racy rainbow-colored, corseted chainmail peacock dress by The Blonds. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin sparkly wedge-heeled shoes and a Carrera y Carrera peacock ring.

UPDATE: While performing, Rihanna also rocked David Yurman’s Chevron Black Diamond Tag and Pave Diamond Dogtag necklaces, both in sterling silver.

Get her haute look: Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria accepted a donation this week from AT&T to benefit her ‘Padres Contra El Cancer’ charity. At the event, she looked incredibly chic in this dress by Karen Millen. Actress Kerry Washington was seen posing for a photocall while promoting her film ‘Mother and Child’, during the 57th San Sebastian International Film Festival in San Sebastian, Spain. The film festival is one of the oldest and most prestigious in the world and has a strong focus on European and U.S. movies. Jay-Z and Beyonce attended a press conference for the “Answer The Call” charity concert at Madison Square Garden yesterday and Beyonce looked casually stunning, as usual. Gold snake chains are making a comeback

In case you haven’t heard, snakes are the new black. Everything ’snake’ is fair game; from the literal – python handbags and snakeskin shoes and boots; to the figurative – snake-cutout dresses, snake-printed tights, and snake-themed jewelry – and all of it is slithering its way into designer collections. One ’snake’ piece to watch (and cop) is the flat snake necklace. It looks much like the ‘herringbone’ chain that was popular in my heyday, and is now making a comeback. Who Rocked it Hotter: Khloe Kardashian vs. Rihanna in Alexander Wang’s Slim Grommet Dress

This is the summer of Alexander Wang! The designer has celebrities clamoring for his edgy looks and chic dresses. Khloe Kardashian and Rihanna were both spotted this summer wearing the same black dress from the designer. This crew-neck dress is made of mid-weight jersey material (67% rayon/21% nylon/12% spandex) with mesh long sleeves and metal grommets at the shoulders, which are lined and slightly padded. There’s also seam detail throughout with an exposed back zip. Khloe Kardashian was promoting Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami in NYC on The Wendy Williams Show . Rachel Roy really loves her Michael Kors chain link necklace! She first wore the silver version at the Cinema Society & Hugo Boss screening of “Inglourious Basterds” at the SVA Theater in New York City. Then she wore the gold version at “The September Issue” premiere at The Museum of Modern Art. Rihanna is such an effing lady in Rag & Bone

I always look forward to New York Fashion Week for the runway shows, of course, but really more for the opportunity to wear the wildest outfits/shoes/bags in my closet. But for someone like Rihanna, everyday is a fashion show where her wildest oufits/shoes/bags are on daily display. She continued her summer-long one-woman fashion parade yesterday, when she shut down Barney’s wearing a one-shoulder dress by Rag & Bone, with contrasting floral prints and leather panels. She paired it with suede Balmain fringed sandals and a clutch that read “Such a f*cking lady”. Alrighty then.
