Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams is no stranger to wearing gorgeous gowns and she was spotted wearing one by Hervé Léger this past April at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. She wore a black bandage gown with tank-style straps, a sweetheart neckline and white contrast trim. My style: Neon & leather (Leather moto jacket + Victoria’s Secret pleated maxi dress + Bottega Veneta sandals)

Since I’m an accessory junkie, I tend to dress around my bags and shoes. I picked up this silver bag from Zara recently, and loved it because it reminded me of Proenza Schouler’s PS11 mirrored-leather clutch that I’ve been virtually stalking. The clutch is a little out of my price range for clutches, so this was a great alternative. And I couldn’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I could wear my Bottega Veneta sandals again – they go with everything! Especially neon – like this new dress from Victoria’s Secret. Enjoy What I’m wearing: Bagatelle...  Read More..

She paired the frock with $695 orange Burberry Prorsum Silk-satin wedge pumps – and they added the perfect pop of color! Haute buy: Pure Ice nail enamels

This season, the biggest trend in accessories is what you’re wearing on your nails, so it’s important to have a polish or two (or ten) at hand. That’s one of the reasons I love Pure Ice. The brand features a ton a chic colors and cheap prices ($1.99), so I can stock up on 10 or more colors, without breaking the bank! Pure Ice sent over some of their irresistible summer shades, like Jackpot (a magenta pink with a pearl finish), Taupe Drawer (a pearly pink) and Frosted Ice New Lilac (an iridescent lavender shade). Some of the other shades I love are Peony, Silver Mercedes, Splash,...  Read More..

Check out all the ‘punk’ and ‘not-so-punk’ looks from the 2013 Met Gala – “Punk: Chaos to Couture”

The annual Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one the fashion world’s biggest events (besides the Academy Awards and Fashion Week). It’s always a red carpet I look forward to because it’s really the chance for designers and their muses to ‘bring it’! This year’s theme is called “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” and it was created to show the impact of punk on high fashion. It is especially exciting for me, since punk is one of my personal style choices. So I was expecting to see lots of leather, studs and crazily mixed prints on...  Read More..

My style: Tigers, leather & studs + get the look!

A few weeks ago I attended the grand opening party for Necessary Clothing‘s Canal Street store. Necessary Clothing is one of my favorite New York shops for chic, trendy and affordable clothes. Naturally I migrated right to this tiger sweater (it’s my favorite animal so I love anything tiger printed). I wore it recently one weekend in D.C. while strolling through the park enjoying the cherry blossom trees! Also loved this evil eye sweater (pictured below) too – I may go back and pick it up! What I’m wearing: Prada ‘Baroque’ Round Sunglasses Catherine Malandrino...  Read More..

What she wore: Zoe Saldana in Balmain Pre-Fall 2013 and Christian Louboutin Pigaresille Lace & Suede Pumps

If Zoe Saldana ever decides to give up acting, we think she definitely has a career in modeling! The actress looked stunning at the German Premiere of ‘Star Trek – Into Darkness‘, held at the China Club in Berlin. She slayed the competition in a Balmain Pre-Fall 2013 dress and a pair of $795 Christian Louboutin Pigaresille Lace & Suede Pumps and posed alongside co-stars Alice Eve, Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine. The dress features a jacquard printed bodice, two-toned sleeves and a pink satin tulip skirt. The model wore it paired with pants/thigh high boots but we prefer the...  Read More..
