Living in and loving NYC is a hard habit to break! Even though I’ve been gone for five years, after living there for 10, I still find myself craving return trips to the Big Apple all the time. Like, every few months. Or every other week. It doesn’t help that I’m still on a ton of event and nightlife lists and it seems like every day there is something new, fun and exciting to do or see! Unfortunately, I only seem to get back there maybe once or twice a year. Sad face. I visited back in January but it was so cold out I couldn’t fully enjoy it! The thing I love most about NYC is the exploration – wandering through the different neighborhoods, browsing the stores, perusing art exhibits, random popup shops, and the option to try out every type of cuisine under the sun! In short, I miss it dearly, as you can tell by my outfit. Although if I still lived in NYC, I’d be wearing a black leather jacket instead of a red one.
Am I the only one who pays homage to all my favorite places via my clothes? I’ve lost count of the number of New York-emblazoned tops I own, plus hats, handbags and jewelry. I have a ton of things representing some of my other favorite places too: Tokyo, Paris, San Francisco, LA, and Hollywood. Do you stock up on clothing with the names of your favorite cities, states or countries on it? I’ve linked to a bunch of my favorites, below:
