As a female entrepreneur, I’ve always been a huge supporter of women-owned businesses. I love reading success stories of women CEOs, #girlbosses, females running the show. So I was happy to support women-owned and operated brand, Leota, when they reached out to me to collaborate. This awesome brand makes beautifully printed, super comfortable dresses that are easy to wear – can you say “throw on and go?!” The dresses are hand-painted in-house and made in NYC, creating long-lasting partnerships with the seamstresses. Best of all, Leota ensures good working conditions for their employees, like the women who work there, and supports a strong economy. Their mission is to change the world — in comfortable clothes, of course!
I was sent this Leota Ilana dress in ‘Mambo’ to rock. As a working woman, I need clothes that are chic and comfortable, but especially, easy to wear. This work-ready dress comes in a fun print, can be worn on or off the shoulder, and is wrinkle free – ’cause who wants to spend their time ironing? I paired it with pieces from some of my other favorite women-owned businesses (and a few men who love to dress women). Details below:
