Despite those 3 days of 70 degree weather last week, today I was quickly reminded that it isn’t Spring just yet! It was freezing out, and I was unprepared! I was just wearing one of my Summer dresses yesterday and didn’t expect such a drastic shift in the weather. Summer is my preferred season, because: warmth, but I do love Winter outerwear. Coats are nice, moto jackets are the best, and capes are fun! I snagged this one for $14, and you wouldn’t believe where I got it!
Can you believe I got this cape at Costco?! I just got turned on to Costco about a year ago, when I accompanied someone on their shopping trip. I went for the free samples, and stayed for the bulk shopping! I’ve since gotten my own Costco membership, so I can head there for my regular items (salmon, seltzer water, bulk gum), and also for the random finds, like this cape! I’ve picked up a few apparel items from Costco before – like a moisture-wicking tank top and long sleeved shirt that I picked up before my around-the-world trip – and I still love and wear on a regular basis. My sis and I also snagged some basic maxi dresses from Costco last summer. But this cape! It was so stylish and chic and when I saw the price tag ($14?!) I couldn’t pass it up! The material is thick and cozy, and I just want to wrap myself up in it until Spring comes.
