Bon chic, bon genre (BCBG): (English: Good style, good sort) is an expression used in France to refer to a subculture of stylish members of the Paris upper class.
Paris is one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited and a place I always look forward to traveling to again. I’ve been there twice already but if I could, I’d visit every year. As far as I’m concerned, you can never have enough of Parisian and French culture! For me that includes language (I started taking French classes last year), food (I like to indulge in French pastries, coffee, wine and meals, as often as possible) and naturally, French style. Paris is the fashion capital of the world (next to New York) so of course everyone is effortlessly stylish. The last time I visited, I spotted plenty of striped shirts, paired with scarves, skirts, skinny jeans and chic flats. I’ve always loved a good striped shirt, and when I paired this one with my BCBG Modie Tiered Fringe Skirt, I immediately felt just a little Parisian. (The pink and white background didn’t hurt, either). 😉
