Who could forget that oh-so-famous, oh-so-plungy, barely-there green Versace dress that J. Lo wore to the Grammys? It was back in the day (2000 to be exact), when she was dating Diddy, back when he was going by Puffy (and sometimes Puff Daddy). But none of that really matters – what mattered was the dress and how she managed to keep it on! The dress and her look was so popular that Donatella Versace gave it to her – no one else could wear it after that!
Well, J. Lo‘s all grown up now and she’s moved on from Diddy – but apparently not the dress. Last night she performed in her hometown, the Bronx, for her State Farm Neighborhood Sessions concert, and one of her looks included this green bodysuit reminiscent of that iconic Versace dress:
The look definitely was inspired by her Grammys look but this time around, the neckline wasn’t quite as plungy, probably because she needed to be able to dance without any wardrobe malfunctions. She paired it with a gold edged belt, fishnet tights and strappy heels and a high ponytail.
So which time did she wear this printed green, plunging look the best – at the 2000 Grammys or at her concert in the Bronx?
