Most of us fashionstas/fashionistos are still recovering from no sleep this weekend, thanks to the launch of 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target. Yes, I admit to staying up late Saturday night, refreshing my browser over and over again like a crazy person just to get my hands on some of the goodies. And I wasn’t the only one. I fell asleep around 1:30 am and woke up at 4 to find all my fashionista/o friends tweeting about what they just snagged from the collection. I quickly placed my orders and promptly went back to sleep.
Anywho, hot on the heels of that collab comes a major announcement. Today Target announced its next designer collaboration, at London Fashion Week, with London-based prints-master brand, Peter Pilotto! The line, designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, will launch in Spring 2014 – Feb. 9, to be exact. This time the line will not only launch at most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, and on Target.com, but a curated assortment of the limited-edition Target collection will also debut on NET-A-PORTER.COM!
Peter Pilotto for Target will feature almost 70 items of women’s apparel, accessories and swimwear, and most of the collection will retail for under $60. Peter Pilotto’s designer collection usually retails anywhere from $500 to several thousand so this is a great way to get your hands on the brand’s signature printed styles, for much, MUCH less!
Peter Pilotto said: “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience.”
Christopher De Vos added: “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone.”
