We’ve had a few really warm, summery days over the past week, and as we head into June it’s time to start getting ready for fun in the sun! I generally start getting regular pedicures and waxing around this time, and also begin to think about sunscreen and self-tanning. I’ve tried a lot of self tanners over the years, but was intrigued when I saw Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizers offering a daily moisturizing formula, as well as a firming formula. Both of their new formulations are free of that typical self-tanner odor and since you’re going to moisturize your skin daily anyway, why not get a little color while hydrating your skin?
I purchased the Firming Formula for Body and the Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen for the face. Both products gradually give you color, and once you reach the desired tan you want, you can use the products just once or twice a week to maintain.
The Daily Moisturizer for the face is oil-free and comes in fair-to-medium and medium-to-tan formulations. I’ve been using it daily for about two weeks and I am noticing the tanning effect. It is subtle, but buildable as you continue to use the product. The moisturizer does a great job of hydrating and it’s a nice, lightweight daily moisturizer perfect for summer. I love that the self-tanner odor is absent from this product. It has a neutral scent that is nice and I’m also using the body lotion so that I can achieve the same glow on my body as well. I love the feel of the body lotion as well. I feel like this product would be great to stock up on and use year round on my face and legs to maintain a healthy glow.
The great thing is that Jergens has a lot of different options in the Natural Glow line. If you want a quicker result, they have a three-day product that lets you see a quicker tan, and a foaming formula that dries in seconds. Learn more about the products and then grab them at your local drugstore, like Walgreens, Target or Drugstore.com.
