Naturally Target is my go-to place for shopping for pretty much whatever I need but it’s also become a major fashion destination too. Ever since the launch of their first designer collaboration, I’ve been buying clothes at Target alongside my toiletries, home goods and food!

This Spring I’ve already dedicated some of my shopping budget to Target, especially after watching their Spring trends commercial. Florals, stripes and pastels? Yes please! Everything is on-trend for the season, plus Target prices are notoriously affordable so I’m there! I checked out the video online and already highlighted some of the key pieces I want to pick up at Target. Take a look:

Shop the trend: BLOSSOM

The first trend I spotted in the video was floral print. Blossoms are blooming this season and target has some great styles! My favorite piece is the floral print Merona Women’s Favorite Lawn Shirt – it’s pretty versatile and you can wear it with mixed print bottoms or just a pair of classic blue jeans.

Shop the trend: FLUORESCE

The next trend I spied was pastels – another biggie for spring. Ombre offers a chic twist on the classic pastel color scheme and Target’s got several options! Try pairing an ombre men’s sweater (yes, men can get in on ombre too!) with similarly colored pastel skinny jeans, or just rock an ombre scarf with a monochrome look for a pop!

Another trend that’s big this year are stripes, particularly black and white stripes. Get into the trend with this optic striped peplum dress, that’s classy enough to wear to the office but throw on some red heels and you can head out for dinner and dancing too!

Lastly, polka dots are a leftover trend from Fall and in Spring colors and fabrics, they can make a nice seasonal transition. A light chambray polka dot dress, colorful dotted scarf or a black and white polka dot top are essentials this season.
