One celeb we consistently look to for fashion inspiration is Solange Knowles. She always takes her style up several notches with her mix of edgy prints, colors, styles and hair! She’s become known in fashion circles for her love of prints so it was no surprise to see her at HBO‘s season two premiere of “Girls” in New York, rocking a printed blazer and pants from Just Cavalli Pre-Fall 2013. On the runway, each piece was worn with a brown quilted piece, with black trim. But leave it to Solange to mix things up and go for the bold! Also, she styled her look with a patchwork, diamond print clutch, her signature afro and she wore a personal fave of mine, Bottega Veneta’s Three-tone leather ankle cuff sandals. The black, white and orange sandals added and extra pop to her look!
What do you think of Solange’s mixed print Just Cavalli look: is it haute or not?

[...] Solange is a pro when it comes to rockin’ printed, menswear-inspired suits, but let’s be honest, not many ladies can pull off the look. Halle Berry and Ke$ha both rocked similar black and gold, brocade-style print suits, stylishly. But who wore it better? [...]

[...] Solange is no stranger to mixing prints and this time she rocked pieces from one of our favorite print-heavy fashion houses, Marni. She wore a Marni Fitted Double-Breasted Jacket, shirt and Marni Edition Graphic Print Skirt in a tessellated cube print from their 2013 Pre-Fall/Winter edition collection. She topped off the look with white T-strap heels – Elizabeth and James Saucy Ankle Cuff Pumps. [...]
