First Lady Michelle Obama in Tracy Reese Colwyn brocade dress | THEIA Brocade Party Dress | China Glaze ‘First Mate’ Nail Lacquer | China Glaze ‘Recycle’ Nail Lacquer | J. Crew ‘Everly’ pink suede pumps
The first night of the 2012 DNC was packed with inspirational, heartfelt speeches, powerful politicians and one uber-fabulous First Lady. Michelle Obama as always, delivered an incredible speech about her husband, President Barack Obama, including the quote of the night: “Being President doesn’t change who you are. It reveals who you are.” And she did so looking stunning in a two-tone brocade custom Tracy Reese dress. The A-line style dress featured a tank top, which showed off her toned arms, a slim bodice and slightly flared skirt that hit just below the knee, revealing her toned legs. The top portion of the frock featured a pink-colored brocade design, while the bottom hem was a bluish-gray. The First Lady kept her accessories simple, wearing only earrings and J. Crew ‘Everly’ pink suede pumps. Also, she wore a blue-gray nail polish (the brand and color we’ve yet to find out) . Since her dress was custom-made, you can’t get it (not yet anyway – but maybe the designer will eventually produce it for the masses?), here are a few options, plus accessories and nail polish, to get you looking First Lady-like!
