Christian Louboutin doesn’t care if your feet hurt — The designer of iconic red soled shoes recently told Vogue UK: “People say I am the king of painful shoes. I don’t want to create painful shoes, but it is not my job to create something comfortable. I try to make high heels as comfortable as they can be, but my priority is design, beauty and sexiness. I’m not against them, but comfort is not my focus.” (Vogue UK)

Who wants to wear Uggs at their wedding? — Ugg Australia launched its I Do! Collection – a line of three pairs of something ugly, something blue (the soles), for a bride’s big day. Choose from the Sparkles I Do! (sparkly Ugg boots), The Bailey I Do! (a grey pair), and the Fluff Flip Flop I Do! (a white furry thong sandal). Sigh. (Jezebel)
Everyone wants a piece of Priscilla Chan, err, her wedding gown that is — While Facebook investors are busy ditching their stocks, brides-to-be are snatching up another investment – a knockoff of Priscilla Chan’s (aka Mrs. Mark Zuckerberg) wedding gown. The two got married last weekend; Chan wore a lacy beaded dress by Claire Pettibone that apparently everyone wants to now buy. (Fashionista)
Louis Vuitton gets dotty — Dot artist Yayoi Kusama is collaborating with Louis Vuitton on a line of clothes and accessories (from trenchcoats and silk pajamas to necklaces and wristwatches) launching in LV stores in early July. A second wave including monogram leather goods covered with Kusama’s “tentaclelike “nerves” motif” is due in October. (WWD, subscription required)
