CAMPAIGNS: Alice Dellal is the new face of Chanel and will star in a Boy Chanel handbag campaign, shot by designer Karl Lagerfeld. A statement from Chanel read: “Ultra-modern, refined and mysterious, Alice Dellal is the latest in the line of Chanel muses, each boasting their own inimitable allure. MAGAZINES: It is rumored that British singer Adele may cover American Vogue for its March 2012 issue. It’s been reported that designers have been asked by to make special cover outfits for her to wear. A spokeswoman for Vogue declined to comment. (WWD)
COSMETICS: Iconic nonagenarian Iris Apfel is collaborating with MAC Cosmetics on a makeup collection. It includes red lipstick (naturally), bright eyeshadow, nail polish, a brow pencil, mascara and beauty powder. The collection hits MAC stores January 5. (Stylelist)
CONTROVERSY: Kate Moss’ new ad campaign for her jewelry line for Fred has David Yurman describing the pictures as “embarrassingly similar” to his own spring/summer 2011 campaign images with Moss. The supermodel was shot last year by Peter Lindbergh, lying topless on a furry rug; her ad campaign for Fred, shot by Sonia Sieff, is similarly posed. (Vogue UK)
