The average runway show lasts roughly 15-20 minutes, so whatever you’ve designed had better make a quick and lasting impact. Canadian twin designers Dean and Dan Caten did just that, sending models down their DSquared2 Fall/Winter 2011 runway in ice-skates-turned-high-heel-boots. The DSquared2 ‘Skate Moss’ boots are just what they say they are – a pair of boots with rubber-bottomed metal ice skate blades attached. No, they don’t actually work, and even if they did, we wouldn’t recommend wearing these 8″ high boots in the snow. But if you follow the Lady Gaga rules of impractical style and consider yourself a fashion risk-taker, you might want to add these to your Fall shopping list and rock ’em anyways!
