The beautiful red rose background did not detract from Mulberry‘s vibrant Spring 2011 collection. Inspired by the movie “Grey Gardens” and the book “The Secret Garden,” Mulberry’s redheaded models rocked combos of caramel and denim, along with cobalt blues and an array of pastel – pink, purple and peach. The line was ultra-feminine, and garden-like, with florals, ruffles and bows making their way onto full skirts, chic shirtdresses, cropped tailored blazers over tea-length dresses and a few grown-up rompers thrown in. and the bags – of course it wouldn’t be a Mulberry show without the bags! The key bag shown on the runway, and making its debut for Spring 2011 is the Mulberry Tillie, which was presented in various colors. Our pick: the blue and white print version to match the jacket and dress. So chic!
