Wise women invest in Christian Louboutin

I finally got around to purchasing the Christian Louboutin Rolando Hidden-Platform Pump and I just have to say that it was a very wise investment. They’re so versatile – I’ve only had the shoes for a month and already I have worn them four times. What I absolutely love about these and all Christian Louboutin shoes is the trademark red bottom. How HOT is that? The Rolando Hidden-Platform Pump is very chic and classy and the red sole is a drop-dead killer for me. As far as price - yes it is steep at $695. However I’d rather have one good pair of Louboutin’s than ten pairs of cheap-ticket shoes. Remember ladies, you are what you walk in, and you’re not cheap.

Tru Renewal by Ramona Singer: ‘Real Housewife of New York’ creates really great skincare

I’m sure I’m not the only one who indulged myself Tuesday nights by watching the Real Housewives of New York. It was a fun season with a great group of ladies! I was especially excited to see during one of the last episodes that Ramona Singer was launching a skincare line. I am as passionate about skincare as I am about cosmetics. After all, your skin is your canvas, and your makeup looks better when your skin is at its best.
I was quick to research Ramona’s skincare and got in touch with her regarding her products. She is super friendly, really informative, and such a genius for creating this wonderful line of natural products for all skin types. Her line is called Tru Renewal by Ramona and I was lucky enough to sample her amazing Ultra Repair Cream with Algae Enzymes for 6 weeks. I am happy to report that within just 2 weeks I had really noticeable results and was very impressed with this cream. It is light, water based, all-natural, and loaded with ingredients that are good for your skin.
When I asked Ramona why she decided to launch a skincare line, she very honestly said it was initially for selfish reasons. She never quite felt satisfied with the skincare lines she had tried, including many prescription brands, and saw the need for something that worked (and worked well) for all skin types, including Ramona’s ultra sensitive skin. I was intrigued by the algae enzymes and wanted to know more. Ramona explained: “Algae contains planktons which are the building blocks of all cells and life. This helps to rebuild your skin. This is the key ingredient that works on transforming the texture of your skin, and you will see a difference in 4 to 6 weeks.”
On to the great news about Tru Renewal - I do see major results! Within two weeks of using the Ultra Repair Cream with Algae Enzymes twice a day, I noticed tighter, firmer, clearer, fresher and younger looking skin. I actually felt my skin getting firmer instantly after use. I noticed lines in my forehead fading. I abandoned my entire skincare regimen and simplified my routine by replacing a multitude of products for this one cream. I just can’t say enough about it!
I can only hope that Ramona decides to increase her product line to include all-natural age-defying cosmetics! She is truly a woman who loves and appreciates beauty…both inside and out! Hide that gut and show that butt off this summer

Summer is finally here – and so is the weight you packed on while hiding away from the winter’s cold and spring’s showers. More than half of the U.S. population is facing this problem where they have gained extra, unwanted weight during the off-season. However, with summer being the season to wear as little clothes as possible and showing off your confidence with your summer body, what do you do with the excess weight? The easiest solution would be to exercise and change your diet. But – for those who want to walk fierce down the street now, that won’t be the fastest solution.
Certified image consultant and DAMstyle owner, David A. McKnight believes people can feel good about their body image if they find the right type of styles to hide those flaws and compliment the assets they love. McKnight owns his own image and lifestyle consulting agency DAMstyle where he consults with several clients who want to look good in current trends but don’t have that model image.
“Looking good isn’t about being the skinniest girl or the most muscular guy, it’s about wearing clothes with confidence,” says McKnight. “An average shaped woman, wearing a tight green neon tank with a mini skirt can make that fashion statement look fierce if she wears it with confidence, not cockiness. Some people just need my help to find the right looks to give them that boost of confidence that will help them appreciate their bodies more this summer.”
But what about bathing suits since you can’t technically hide your imperfections in a two piece suit?
McKnight says selecting the right swim suit is all about understanding and manipulating the discipline of optical illusion. Here are some basic guidelines everyone can follow:
- Flat chest - wear a ruffle top swim suit or a swim suit with formed breast or cup inserts. This will give the illusion of a fuller bust. A swim suit with a ruche top will also work well. In addition, you should try to select suits that are bright or light in color because light colors gives the illusion of expanding, while and dark colors recede.
- Round in the middle (tummy) - Wear a cross over swim suit. the diagonal lines will camouflage the midsection and create the illusion of an hourglass silhouette, similar to a wrap dress.
- Fuller figure - Darker colored piece swim suits will be most flattering and comfortable. A bikini is not an optimal style for this body type.
He also says add a statement jewelry piece to stand out in the crowd. Forget the old saying that less is better. This summer, wear some pieces to accentuate your swimsuit.
Besides, a woman shall never be without her jewelry, even while swimming. It’s just a matter of what you wear and how you wear it. Try accessorizing with delicate pieces that can compliment your swimsuit. You will still show off your laid back summer style, just with a little dose of bling!

Tips to find flattering big earrings-
Longer or thin faces do best with dangle earrings which bell at the bottom to create width.
