While shoe shopping at Loehmann’s this afternoon, I came across the perfect flat – the Loeffler Randall ‘Agatha’, a soft black leather shoe with an awesomely chic studded bow on the side. It’s just the type of shoe I’ve been dying to find and I found it, in my size! I was ecstatic, until I discovered I could only find the left shoe – the right shoe had mysteriously disappeared.

So I did what any hard-working fashion editor would do – I kicked up and kicked off my heels at home and searched online to find my flat. And I found it at Revolve Clothing – only to discover it was SOLD OUT. Woe is me. But I did find a close second in my quest for the perfect black flat – the Loeffler Randall ‘Sybil’ flat.

The ‘Sybil’ flat is a basic, but beautiful black no-frills flat with the exception of a frilly leather ruffle down the front. Made of soft black Italian leather, the shoe has all of Loeffler Randall‘s flirty-yet-downtown edge. Comfort is also a factor – there’s an adjustable ankle strap, cushion leather footbed and fexible leather sole but make sure you order up as it runs a half size small.
