It’s time for change! Last night, agent-of-change, Barack Obama made history and was elected the first African American president of the United States. I am ecstatic and am totally in love with Obama, his political stance and his adorable Obama family! Last night, at Obama’s acceptance speech in Chicago, the family – Barack, wife Michelle and daughters Malia, Sasha – appeared beautifully color-coordinated, dressed in black and red. This has to be the most fashionable family in the White House since John F. Kennedy and Jackie Onassis! Michelle Obama, in particular, is now every designer’s dream girl.
Last night she wore a much talked-about, fashionable black and red ombre banded dress by Narciso Rodriguez fresh off his Spring 2009 runway show. But this isn’t the first time Michelle Obama’s fashion choices have caused such a frenzy! Her yellow J. Crew outfit worn on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno sent shoppers to the site searching for the look. And her black and white Donna Ricco dress worn on The View sold out almost immediately!
